Wood Burning Stoves are specifically designed to burn wood and logs efficiently. They provide a pleasant to use, carbon-neutral form of heating that burns to a very fine ash.
You should only burn wood and logs that have had a year to dry out. Burning freshly-felled timber produces less heat, and can cause tar deposits to form on the inside of the flue.
Wood Burning Stoves are not ideal for burning other forms of solid fuel. Unless you are certain that you won't want to burn fuels such as coal, consider a multi fuel stove.
