This heat powered fan is designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood burning stove. The fan generates its own electricity so no need for batteries or wires.
The Ecofan starts automatically when placed on top of any woodburning or pellet stove and adjusts its speed with the stove tempreture. As the stove heats up the Ecofan runs faster, when the stove cools down the Ecofan with automatically shut off.
Warm air is circulated directly into the living area rather than having most of the stove's heat rise immediately to the ceiling. The Ecofan can be used to help combat dry air by positioning the fan behind a tray of water on the stove top.
The Ecofan Airmax 812 produces the highest airflow over a wider range of stove surface tempretures.
