Steel Register Plates
An installation of a multifuel or wood burning stove requires a register plate, this makes a chimney fume-tight and prevents any debris caused by the stove or the flue falling back down onto your hearth. Our galvanised steel register plates are 1.5mm thick.
Each register plate needs to have a circular cut out in the centre to accommodate the stove pipe that goes through it. Once the pipe is in place it should be sealed with fire cement and Ceramic Fire Rope if necessary but always consult your Hetas qualified fitter for any installation advice. On the register plate you may require a lip, this will allow you to drill the plate to the inside of your chimney breast to secure the plate.
