How much heat does a bio-ethanol Stoves/Fireplace generate?

The smokeless models produce 1.2-3.0kW of heat. If your building has an average insulation level, the heat produced by our decorative fireplace can heat a 25-30 square meter room.

How much heat does a bio-ethanol Stove/Fireplace loose?

As there is no heat loss through a chimney, a large portion of the heat remains in the room.

What is the burning time of bio-ethanol?

Depending on the setting 2 litres will last you approximately 8 hours at full setting, and up to 16 hours at half setting?

How long do the Stoves have to be burning to feel a significant increase in room temperature?

Within minutes of lighting. To reach maximum heat in a typical room will only take on average 10-15 minutes.

Will burning a bio Stove or fireplace cause the air in the room to dry out?

Ordinary sources of heat such as radiators or electric heaters usually dry out the air. When burning the bio Stove and gas fires, steam is emitted this increases relative humidity.

How safe is the fuel?

Having been thoroughly tested, the fuel received the approval of the specialists from the Environmental Toxicology Department of the National Institute of Hygiene in regard to its safety for people and the environment, and with reservation of use in accordance with designation, label instructions and the operation manuals.

Is bio-ethanol a renewable source of energy?

Bio-ethanol fuel is a biologically clean product of plant origin, which has undergone rectification three times. It constitutes a wholly renewable source of energy. It is made by fermentation from grains rich in sugar or starch, for example cereal crops, sugar beet and sorghum plants. In Sweden, it is produced locally from biomass such as from cereals, wine and sugar cane, and wood waste.

Is smoke emitted during burning?

Neither smell nor smoke is emitted during burning. As a result of burning, steam and CO2 remain in the air in proportion similar to those contained in the air exhaled by humans. No undesired side effects such as smoke, ash or solid remains.
