The Portway Rochester 7kW multi-fuel stove offers something a little different with its classic design and high-quality castings. The curved door, plinth and stove top are built from cast iron which is designed to retain the heat of the fire long after it has gone out, you can also choose between a fully-black colour door or a black door with a modern chrome strip which gives the stove a modern twist.
The Rochester 7kW log burner is packed with all the latest innovations, it is a wood burning stove with the freedom to burn logs and solid fuel and it boasts and impressive 78.9% efficiency with an 'A' rated energy certificate. This controllable and energy-efficient stove operates at a maximum heat output of 7kW making it ideal for medium to large rooms but the heat output can be tamed to 5kW if you opt to buy the heat reducing firebricks. The Rochester multi-fuel stove has a built-in cast iron raised grate allowing combustion air to flow directly underneath the smokeless fuel resulting in effective and efficient burning. Maintenance is made simple with this system which allows easy removal of ash from beneath the grate using a removable ash pan.
You can be assured that the Rochester 7 is clean burning with its EcoDesign compliance & Defra approval, it exceeds all current clean emissions standards. The DEFRA approval it holds means it is exempt from smoke control area rules across the UK which means you can enjoy the warmth and ambience of this stove in urban areas.
