The Flue Liner Rockwool Tube 5" (125mm) is used to insulate flexible flue liners, helping to reduce the risk of condensation within the flue system. It is commonly installed in large open chimneys or in chimneys that are exposed to harsh weather conditions.

Each Rockwool Tube is supplied in 1 metre lengths and is fitted as the flue liner is lowered into the chimney. Attach each section of Rockwool Tube to the corresponding 1 metre length of flue liner using the self-adhesive tape before continuing with the installation.

All joints must be secured with foil tape, although we recommend sealing every joint with 50mm wide Aluminium Tape to provide a more secure finish.

Rockwool Tubes are not suitable for use with Class 2 flexible liners designed for gas and oil appliances.
