Description

The Gallery Salamanca Fireplace Chamber creates a bold, architectural backdrop for your stove or fire, combining the appearance of natural stone cladding with the practicality of a pre-fabricated ceramic chamber. Its random stone-effect layout blends charcoal, slate, mid-grey and soft ash tones to produce a richly textured finish with natural variation, depth and character. The irregular block pattern also creates subtle shadow lines across the surface, helping the chamber look more authentic while allowing firelight to highlight the different textures.

Each panel is constructed from ceramic stone-effect tiles bonded to specialist heat-resistant backing board, providing a durable solution for lining the internal surfaces of a chimney breast or purpose-built fireplace opening. Supplied as a three-piece set comprising one rear panel and two side panels, the Salamanca chamber helps conceal rough brickwork or block-work while creating the appearance of a professionally stone-clad recess. At approximately 25mm thick, the panels provide a substantial finish while remaining practical to install.

Suitable for wood-burning, multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves, this Gallery Fireplace Chamber works particularly well with black steel and cast iron appliances. Its cool grey palette is equally at home in contemporary, industrial and rustic interiors and can be used as a standalone inglenook or combined with a timber beam or modern fireplace surround. Made in the UK, it offers an effective way to create a striking statement fireplace without the time and complexity associated with traditional stone masonry.

  • Natural stone-cladding appearance with a varied mix of charcoal, slate, mid-grey and soft ash tones recreates the character and colour variation associated with real quarried stone
  • Irregular ceramic sections create depth, shadow and a more organic finish than a uniform tile pattern, producing an impressive architectural backdrop
  • Stone-effect ceramic tiles are bonded to specialist heat-resistant backing boards for a durable lining suitable for fireplace and stove installations
  • Supplied with one rear panel and two side panels to help conceal unfinished internal surfaces and achieve a clean, professionally finished inglenook
  • Designed to complement wood-burning, multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves in both new installations and fireplace renovation projects
  • Made in the UK to provide a high-quality finishing solution for new fireplace installations and renovation projects
  • Approximately 25mm overall thickness provides a substantial chamber lining while remaining practical for installation
  • NB: Please allow for a 5-10mm tolerance due to the thickness of some materials used. Fire and trim are not included

Delivery - What to Expect

Our standard deliveries arrive via a 10-tonne lorry (similar in size to a bin wagon or fire engine), equipped with a tail lift and pallet truck.
Access must be suitable: solid, level surfaces (no gravel, steps, steep slopes, or grass).
For palletised deliveries the driver will move the pallet to the nearest accessible point, but cannot go over unsuitable terrain or carry goods indoors, though may place them inside a garage if accessible.
If you have narrow gates, restricted access, or other challenges, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
Our free service is a one-man delivery. We recommend having someone available to assist, especially for larger items.
The delivery driver is not able to unpack or install your goods unless this is a service you have selected.

Checking Your Delivery

On delivery of your palletised goods, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes while you inspect the item(s).
Please check your goods before the driver leaves. If there is any damage or the driver refuses to wait, note this on the delivery slip (e.g., “Driver did not wait – damage unchecked”).
For any damage found, mark the delivery note clearly and contact us immediately.

Missed Deliveries

If you miss your pre-booked delivery, a re-delivery charge may apply.
For smaller items sent via courier (e.g., stove glass), the courier will leave a note with redelivery instructions if you’re not home.

Additional Delivery Notes

Accessory items like fitting kits and liner packs may be sent separately via courier on the same day. You’ll receive email confirmation if this is the case.
Delivery times are generally between 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday.
Delivery depots may send SMS updates, but these aren’t guaranteed.

Please DO NOT book installers, plumbers, electricians or other contractors until your goods have been delivered and checked, as delays can sometimes occur beyond our control.
