The Portway P1 Contemporary stove is suitable for use with wood logs and smokeless coal and is approved for use in smoke controlled areas and is credited by the SIA Ecodesign Ready Scheme. The P1 stove provides a generous 4.9kW heat output which is plenty for a standard sized room and its slim depth makes installation incredibly easy.
Made in the UK, the Portway P1 has a steel body with a cast iron door and grates which are strong and durable. It features a large glass window for you to view the entire firebox and has a powerful airwash system to help keep the glass clean. There is an option to add low or high legs to the P1 stove. These legs will raise the stove, depending on which legs you choose to eye level when seated allowing you perfect view as well as allowing you to store logs underneath the stove.
An added benefit of choosing the Portway P1 stove is its clean-burning technology. With a primary, secondary and tertiary air supply the P1 will ensure optimum combustion with every use. It comes complete with a large ashpan under the grate which is easy to carry and has an option of adding a direct air kit although additional ventilation is not normally required.
