Can this fireplace be installed flush to the wall or is it an inset?

The Gallery Sovereign cast iron insert is designed as an inset fireplace, meaning it is intended to be recessed into a chimney breast or fireplace opening. It cannot be installed flush against a flat wall without a suitable recess.
