Is this fireplace flat to the wall? If not, what are the specifications of what goes in to the fireplace

The Carron Victorian Large cast iron fireplace comes complete with a cast iron back, which requires a 20cm (approximately 8") recess or fireplace opening for installation. Please note, this model cannot be fitted directly onto a flat wall.
