Each glass hearth is CE marked and meets the thickness requirements needed for HETAS approval and UK Building Regulations Document J compliance.

When fitting the glass hearth, it should extend a minimum of 300mm beyond the front of the stove and 150mm to each side to provide the required protection. Adding a small transparent silicone joint between the hearth and floor helps stop dust and dirt from getting underneath, keeping the area around your stove looking clean and well finished.
