The WP5 multi-burner is designed for use with both wood and coal and boasts a very impressive energy efficiency rating of A+ at 82.5% which means that it will get the most out of the fuel it uses before you need to refuel the grate. Plus, the Woodpecker 5kW stove is EcoDesign compliant and DEFRA-approved, meaning it meets all the stringent emission standards and can fitted into smoke controlled areas within the UK. As you would expect from a stove that has passed the stringent EcoDesign requirements, the Woodpecker WP5 burns wood cleanly and it is incredibly easy to control the rate of burn.
A nominal heat output of 5kW means no ventilation is required for this heating appliance but a maximum heat output 7kW means that it is suited for medium sized rooms but has the capacity to heat larger rooms or open plan living spaces if required. The WP5 wood burner is also suitable for use on a 12mm non-combustible hearth due to the bottom of the stove being less than 100ºC and it's large firebox allows up to 400mm long logs at a time.
