Electric fireplace suites
If you're looking for a brand-new fireplace powered by electric for your home, you're in the right place. We have an extensive range of electric fireplace suites to browse, available with marble, limestone, and wood surrounds.
What's the difference between an electric fire and fireplace suite?
An electric fire refers to the appliance itself. It produces heat and flame effects and can be installed on its own, whether that’s inset into a wall, mounted, or placed within an existing fireplace opening.
A fireplace suite, on the other hand, is a complete unit that includes both the electric fire and a surrounding mantel or frame. It is designed to create a finished look straight away, often acting as a focal point in the room without the need for a chimney or additional building work.
Why buy our electric fireplaces?
At StovesAreUs, we pride ourselves on offering quality, value, and choice with our electric fireplaces. We offer a wide range of models, all from reliable and trusted brands such as Elgin & Hall, Dimplex, Celsi, and FLARE. We also offer free UK delivery on all orders over £100, as well as a price match promise to help you get the best deal. And with warranties of up to five years available, you can shop with peace of mind.
Is an electric fireplace suite right for me?
Electric fireplaces turn any room into a cosy retreat in seconds. There is no chimney to worry about, no logs to store, and almost no maintenance required. Designed for modern living, they fit perfectly in flats, new builds, or homes where practicality and safety are key.
Compared to wood burning stoves or gas fires, electric fireplaces are more energy-efficient and easier to use, though they cannot fully replicate the smell, crackle, or heat of a real fire. However, they are flameless, so are a safer option for homes with children or pets.
Electric fireplace suites are best for creating cosy atmosphere or providing extra warmth in small to medium rooms but aren't quite powerful enough to serve as a primary heat source. If your living space is large, a wood-burning or gas fireplace suite might be a better option.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of an electric fireplace?Electric fireplaces are energy-efficient, require no chimney or ventilation, and are incredibly easy to install. They also allow you to enjoy the flame effect without heat, perfect for creating a cosy ambience year-round.
Are electric fireplaces safe for children and pets?Yes. In fact, electric fireplaces are one of the safest heating options available! How much does it cost to run an electric fireplace? The cost of running an electric fireplace depends on the heat output, your electricity tariff, and how long you use it. For example, if your electricity costs 35p per kilowatt‑hour, running a 1kW fire for one hour would cost about 35p.
