Saltfire Peanut Stoves
The Peanut stove range is one of only a few stove brands that currently meets the SIA Eco Design Ready Scheme. This scheme has been in effect since 2022 and means that all new stoves must pass a certain emissions test and have a minimum efficiency rating. If you live in a smoke controlled area and want the full benefits of a wood-burner, you may be interested in our range of DEFRA-approved stoves.
Heat outputs of Peanut stoves range from 5–8kW and are available with log stores for added height to ensure you get the right stove for your home. The Peanut 3 is the smallest models and are designed to fit into even the smallest of chimney breasts. Also in this range is the Peanut 5 stove, designed to fit a standard 16" wide opening, making it perfect for most homes.
The Saltfire Bignut 5 has the same output and efficiency as the lower model but offers a wider design and larger viewing window for maximum view of the flames. Finally, there is the Peanut 8 which offers a higher heat output and larger stoves making them perfect for spacious rooms.
Each stove has the option of being installed on one of Satlfire's stove benches. These steel benches raise the stove up to eye level which makes it easier to load with ample room to conveniently store your logs.
